Marshall Ray Swint, 70, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, May 27, 2024. He was born January 21, 1954 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, to William & Lola Cross Swint. He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Charles & Richard Swint and Shirley Bennett; and grandson Gage Goodman Swint.
Remaining to cherish Marshall's memory are his children, Joshua Swint of Rosebud, Arkansas and Jodi Swint of Lonoke, Arkansas; grandson's, Dustin Swint, Tallon Swint & Kamryn Blackard; siblings, Rickey & Kim Swint; Lola & Crystal Swint and Felecia Swint; niece Audrey Sheets and nephews, Bill Swint, Jacob Bennett, Patrick Swint, Jessie Swint & Colton Swint; 4 great-nieces'; 9 great-nephews, and many, many cousins and friends.
After Marshall graduated from Lonoke High School in 1972, He went to work at McCrary's Farm Service. He then held down a job with a construction company before he retired from Lonoke County Highway Department.
Marshall loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, watching race cars and driving big trucks. He was a man of few words but when he spoke you listened and he gave hugs that solved all the world's problems. He was our big teddy bear and always had a safety pin ready for duty. There was never a time he did not show and voice his love for his kids and grandsons'.
Family-hosted memorial services will be held Saturday, June 1 at 11:00 AM with Visitation at 10:00 AM at Brownsville Baptist Church, 44 Watson Lane, Lonoke, Arkansas with Bro. Bob Courson and Bro. Woody Evans officiating.
