Maria Sarinana Obituary

Maria Cecilia Sarinana 66 of Lubbock passed away on January 28, 2026. She was born on August 18, 1959, in Crosbyton Texas to Joe and Luisa Martinez Contreras. Maria loved the Dallas Cowboys and watching football. She worked at Pete's Drive In for over thirty years cooking great food, she loved playing dominoes and Yahtzee and spending time with her grandchildren.

Maria is preceded in death by her father Joe Rodriguez, one son Noe Trevino, two sisters Anita Hernandez and Esmerelda Contreras.

Those left to cherish her memory are two daughters; Monica Guevara and husband Mario, Marisela Ibarra and husband Jonathan, three sons; Jesse Sarinana, Jose Abraham Trevino, Abel Trevino and wife Michelle three brothers; Joe, Frank, and Jesse Contreras and six sisters Luisa, Lencia, Yolanda, Lupe, Christina, and Jessica. She also leaves 16 grandchildren which brought so much joy to her life.
