Margaret Rose Milroy, 53, passed away Tuesday, March 25, 2025, at Iowa River Hospice in Marshalltown, IA from a good fight with nonalcoholic liver cirrhosis. There will be no service or burial. Margaret's wishes were to be remembered as the happy go lucky, rolling her eyes at dumb statements, smile on her face, silly gal she was. Anderson Funeral Homes of Marshalltown has been entrusted with the arrangements. Online condolences may be sent to www.andersonfhs.com.
Margaret was born May 14, 1971, to Larry W. and Rose Z. (Van De Venter) Milroy in Vinton, IA.
Margaret grew up in Sioux Center, IA, where she enjoyed all types of scouting events. She was the Girl Scout's Gold Award recipient. She graduated from West Sioux High School in Hawarden, IA.
She had many jobs over the years. She most enjoyed the ones where she dealt with bookkeeping/financials.
She loved to paint sunsets, crafts & crocheting. She was devoted to her pets, but especially devoted to her beloved mother, whom she was sole caregiver for till her death.
Margaret is survived by her brother, John (Brenda), Hawarden, IA: her two cats; Aunt & Uncle, Illa and Corliss Myers & their great-granddaughter, Zola, Marshalltown, IA; best friend & caregiver, Avis (Fred) Krueger, Urbandale, IA; many nieces, nephews, cousins and other uncles & aunt. Proceeding her in death: her mother, father, brother (Paul Milroy, Littleton, CO), grandparents, aunts & uncles.
