M. Jean (Allen) Parsons 88 of Warwick passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on March 23, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Frederic and Margaret (Hughes) Allen.
Jean was a graduate of Aldrich High School. She was employed by the Social Security Administration in the Pawtucket RI Office, where she was named Federal Employee of the Year in 1985. Most important to Jean was maintaining the legacy of her grandparents, John and Margaret Hughes. Every year she looked forward planning the annual "Hughes" picnic which brought together cousins from near and far.
Jean is survived by her loving daughters, Dianne Cole (Bob) and Caroline LeStrange (Chris). She was the adoring grandmother of Kerri Allanbrook (Brian), Lindsay Swanson (Tyler) and Emily LeStrange. Jean was the great grandmother of Camille, Corinne, Emerson, Archie, and Otto. She was the sister of Brian R. Allen (Sally), Kathleen Beauchaine, and Eileen Mazza (Tony), and the late Ann Morse, Marion Berard, and Fred Allen.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Saturday March 29, 2025, at 10 a.m. in the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Visitation will be held Friday evening from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery, Warwick.
