Lorraine Haworth Obituary

Lorraine Shirley Haworth, 89, of Commerce Township, Michigan, passed away on November 8, 2024. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt.
Lorraine was born on March 12, 1935, at her parents' home in Hamtramck, Michigan, to Chester and Theresa Grabowski. She married Rex Haworth in 1958, and they shared 40 wonderful years together. She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Haworth, and her son, Robert (Susan) Haworth; her granddaughter, Brianna; her siblings, Doris (late Andrew), Chester (Judy), and the late Patricia (Arthur); and many nieces and nephews. Gone before Lorriane was her husband, Rex, and her son, Rex Jr.
Lorraine was a cherished friend to many, known for her kind heart, warm smile, and generous spirit. She was fondly known as the "neighborhood mom," always welcoming and caring for everyone. Lorraine was avid Detroit Sports fan, as well as Elvis, Neil Diamond, and Il Divo. She was very active in her antiques community for many years and retired from AT&T. Her family and friends remember the countless moments of love and laughter they shared.
