Lisa A. Cratice, 80, passed away peacefully at her home in Irvington on March 17, 2025. Born in Colihaut, Dominica, West Indies, Lisa was a devoted homemaker who built a warm and loving home for her family in Irvington.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, March 28th, at 10:45 AM at St. Joseph's Church, located at 767 Prospect St, Maplewood. Visitation will take place on Thursday March 27th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Preston Funeral Home, 153 South Orange Ave, South Orange. Entombment in Woodbridge Memorial Gardens.
Lisa was predeceased by her beloved husband, William Cratice. She is survived by her loving children, Centura Edwards, Menavia Langlais, Sandra Langlais-Shillingford, and Willet Langlais. Her sons in Law, Trevor Shillingford, Leo Edwards and Glen Williams. Daughter in Law Ann-Marie Langlais. She also leaves behind cherished grandchildren: Osbert, Jeovel, Desean, Kadeem, Hakim, Laila, Kareem, and Lakim, as well as great-grandchildren Anton, Janelle, Haven, Maiya, and Tayla. She also is survived by brothers and sisters. Nieces and Nephews to numerous to mention. Family and friends, Her Caregiver Denise. All the nurses and Aids of the Amedisys Hospice Agency. All the staff at Hackensack Meridian Cancer Center.
