Lindsay Jane Pockl, 73, of Wheeling, WV, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at Liza's Place.

She was born in Wheeling on August 30, 1952, a daughter of the late James Alvin and Ida Mae (Jones) McLaughlin. Lindsay was a woman of faith, embracing her Presbyterian beliefs throughout her life. She retired from Verizon as a Service Consultant after many years of dedicated service. After retirement Lindsay found great joy in traveling with her husband and family, especially family cruises where she could listen to the water. She was an avid reader and enjoyed listening and playing music.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by he in-laws, Bob and Virginia Pockl, Nona Pockl, Helen Pockl, Theresa Pockl, Bill Adams and Steve Ishmael.

Lindsay is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Joseph Pockl; two wonderful sons, Jason (Beverly) Pockl of Wheeling and Bryan Pockl of Dallas, WV; three adored grandchildren, J.T Pockl, Reagan Pockl and Taegan Pockl; her two siblings, Jim McLaughlin and Kim McLaughlin; four in-laws, James Pockl, Bill Pockl, Sandy Adams and Linda Ishmael and several nieces and nephews. Her presence will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
