Linda White Obituary

Linda Darlene White, 79, of Jay, Oklahoma, passed from this life on Sunday, February 9, 2025 in Grove, Oklahoma. She was born on November 1,1945 to Floyd and Dorothy Larison.
Touching many lives, she was one of a kind. Linda had a huge heart and was loved by all who knew her. Linda married LeRoy on February 15, 1980, and he survives her of the home. She was an NSU graduate with a bachelor's degree in education. She was a teacher with Jay Public Schools for many years and treated each of her students as if they were her own. She was a member of Brush Creek Baptist Church and loved her church family. Linda was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend and will be missed by everyone.
Linda was preceded in death by her mom and dad, Floyd and Dorothy Larison and her sister, Cindy Northcutt.
Linda is survived by her husband, LeRoy White of the home; sons, Alan Jim Roberts and wife Melissa of Bella Vista, AR and Lance (Tootie) Elroy White of the home; Six grandchildren, Blake White, Jake White, Brett White, Josie Lee Weber and Nikk Gladney and Glen Skelton; Four great-grandchildren, Eli, Gabe, Paisley and Braden; Three sisters, Christine Williams and husband Chris of Kansas City, Teresa Haley and husband Mark of Kansas City, Judy Koon of Bradenton, FL; And a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
Linda's Celebration of Life Wake Service will be held on Thursday, 6:00pm, February 13, 2025 at Lawson's Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, 311 W. Gray St., Jay, OK 74346. Followed by her family visitation to greet friends until 8:00pm.
Linda's Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be held on Friday, 2:00pm, February 14, 2025 at Brush Creek Baptist Church, 4170 CR, Jay, OK 74346 with Pastor Leo Bird and Pastor Jess Jones, Jr. officiating. Followed by her funeral procession to Piney Cemetery, Jay, OK.
Linda's burial will be held at Piney Cemetery, Jay, OK.
