Linda Lynch, a beacon of intelligence, kindness, and humor, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2024, in Port St. Lucie, Florida. Born on October 14, 1960, in Somerville, New Jersey, Linda's bright spirit and warm heart touched the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her throughout her 64 years.
Linda's early years were filled with love and learning, a testament to the supportive
environment provided by her late parents, Joseph and Grace Koch Lynch. She had two
sisters, Kate Lynch and the late Laura Lynch Rivest.
Her passion for knowledge led her to the College of William and Mary, where she earned her Bachelor's degree and forged lifelong friendship. She next earned a Master's Degree in Business Administration from the University of Tampa that set the stage for her successful career. Linda's sharp mind and problem-solving skills found their home in the world of technology, where she became a software engineer for GTE Data Services in Temple Terrace, Florida.
Beyond her professional pursuits, Linda's love of reading, music and watching movies provided her with joy and a wellspring of topics for lively conversations with friends. Known for her quick wit and infectious laugh, she was blessed with many fantastic friends that she cherished. Her absence will be deeply felt by all who had the fortune to be part of her life.
While family and friends mourn Linda's passing, they also celebrate the extraordinary life she led and the countless memories that will forever hold a place in their hearts. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will live on in the stories we share, the friendships we cherish, and the love we continue to spread in her honor.
