Lincoln Wright Hubbard, age 98, of Warwick, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025 at Kent County Hospital. He was the husband of the late M. Eleanor Hubbard. They were married for 63 years.
Born in Naugatuck, CT, the son of the late Frederick William and Gertrude Hubbard, he grew up in the Edgewood section of Cranston. A 1944 graduate of Cranston High School, he had extensive knowledge of electronics and owned his own company, Edgewood CNC services. Additionally, he was employed as an engineer for WARV, Blount Communications.
For many years he and Eleanor enjoyed spending time square dancing, vacationing with family on Nauset Beach in Massachusetts, summers in Nova Scotia Canada, and participating in the Bristol 4th of July parade for both the church and WARV. He was a devoted member at Woodlawn Baptist Church.
He was pre-deceased by his wife, M. Eleanor Hubbard and his two brothers, Frederick Hubbard and Bruce Hubbard. He is survived by a son, Cameron Hubbard and his wife Mary, of West Greenwich; a daughter, Harriet Muise of West Warwick; three grandchildren, Alexander Hubbard and his wife Christine, of West Greenwich, RI, Jessica Cardoso and her husband Justin, of Cranston, and Benjamin Hubbard of Cranston; and three great-grandchildren, Kayleigh, Austin, and William Hubbard.
His funeral services and burial will be held at Pawtuxet Memorial Park Cemetery on Thursday, January 23, 2025 at 11am.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations in his memory be made to the Woodlawn Baptist Church, 337 Lonsdale Ave., Pawtucket, RI 02860.
