Lillian Amazeen Obituary

Lillian T. Amazeen, 82, of Arlington, Virginia passed away on January 9, 2026. Lillian was born in Apollo, PA to Andrew Majercik and Sophia (Poydence) Majercik on October 21, 1943. She graduated from Apollo High School. She married Charles A. Amazeen on October 11, 1986 at St. James Catholic church in Apollo. Lillian worked as a senior administrative assistant for the Chemical Manufacturer's Association, from which she retired. She enjoyed traveling with her husband in the United States, and abroad to such locales as Switzerland, France, Scotland, Canada, Hawai'i, and Alaska. Lillian was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles. Most of all, she enjoyed her six grandchildren-- Sophia, Katherine, Colton, Carter, Lillian, and Grace. She loved her children Mark Richey, Denise Frank (William), and Charles Amazeen (Courtney). Lillian is survived by her husband Charles, her brother David Majercik, and sisters Mary Ann Mamros and Eleanor Bernat. Her friends and family described her as a kind and caring person - a gem. Funeral services will be held at Curran's Funeral Home, with a funeral mass at St. James Catholic church, in Apollo, PA.
