Leroy W. Laack, Sr., 89, of Dickeyville, Wisconsin, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026. A funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at Casey-McNett Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cuba City, Wisconsin, with Rev. David Flanagan officiating. Burial will be in Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Cuba City. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 10-11:45 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Leroy was born on February 21, 1936, in Mauston, Wisconsin, the son of William and Ruth (Robinson) Laack. He married Marlene “Molly” Worthington on September 24, 1955 at Grace Lutheran Church in Mauston, Wisconsin. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2022.
Leroy was a tremendous provider who loved his family above all else. He was a hard worker, retiring from his last job at Best Western Hotel in Dubuque, Iowa, after 27 years. Leroy enjoyed woodworking, playing horseshoes, hunting, bowling, and tending his flower gardens. He was an avid Packers fan. Leroy and Molly loved spending time together fishing, playing bingo, taking long drives and visiting family. He enjoyed spending time with his children, especially taking them to activities and rebuilding cars with his sons. Leroy will be remembered as a selfless, caring and humble person.
Survivors include one daughter, Teresa Laack, Dickeyville; two sons, Ronald (Rea) Laack, Mauston, WI, and Justin (Stacey) Laack, Dickeyville, WI; 13 grandchildren, Ronnie Lee, Charitie, Robbie, Thor, Noah, Stone, Kenny, Kevin, Katti, Leah, Joshua, Cameron, and Eathon; and many great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Marlene “Molly” Laack; his parents; a son, Leroy Jr. “Butch” Laack; a brother, Art Laack; three sisters, Dorothy (Melvin) Pollock, Elsie (Buford) Van Wormer and Mary (Bill) Brandt; and three grandchildren, Jason Laack, Tommy Laack and Addison Laack.
