Laura Leigh Vice, 54, passed away at her home in Morgan City, LA on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, after her courageous battle with cancer.

Laura truly cherished her family and found comfort in her three cats. She took great pleasure in family game nights with homemade snacks. She was blessed with a radiant singing voice that she loved to show off at karaoke. She was always ready for a road trip, even if it was just a spontaneous trip to Biloxi. She relished in the great oddities she would find at thrift stores and garage sales to add to her “personal collection.” She had a keen eye for color, and a unique flair for decorating. She was very creative and loved arts and crafts. She had a thirst for knowledge and was known for her quick wit. Laura’s beautiful smile brightened every room she entered.

She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children, Tiffanie Vice, Emilie Businelle and her companion Kevin Merritt, Elizabeth Businelle and her fiancé’ Brandon Fontenot; her two “adopted” daughters Caitlynn Ackerman and Kayla Rink; her grandchildren, Triston, Taylie, Tavalynn and Fallon; sisters Julie Bryan Crochet, Angela Picou, Virginia White and her husband Stuart; her brothers Kelly Vice and his wife Wendy, Christopher Vice; her nieces and nephew, Jennifer Crochet Fleming, Brady Vice, and Kaitlyn Vice.

She was preceded in death by her parents Linda White Fontenot and Lynn Jonas Vice; her stepfather, Gerald Fontenot; brother Sheldon Jean Vice; nephew, Nicholas Lloyd Picou, and her angel baby girl.

Family and friends are invited to Twin City Funeral Home on Saturday, April 27, 2024, for visitation 11am-2pm. Service will be held at 2pm.
