Kyle Marvin Jenkins, 37
Kyle Marvin Jenkins, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2025 at the age of 37. A long-time resident of Okeechobee, Florida, Kyle shared 17 wonderful years of marriage with his loving wife, Kathryn Jenkins.
Kyle proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force and participated in Operation Enduring Freedom, leaving an indelible mark on the lives of his comrades and his country. A true enthusiast of cars and aeronautics, Kyle found joy in exploring his passions and sharing them with those around him.
In his personal life, Kyle was a man of many talents and interests. He delighted in hunting, fishing, shooting, drawing, and above all, building LEGO creations with his children, Kolton and Kylynn Jenkins of Okeechobee, Florida. A devoted follower of Jesus, Kyle's faith guided him and inspired those fortunate enough to know him.
Kyle was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Thomas McNeil; his paternal grandfather, Bill Jenkins; and his paternal grandmother, Garreta Harden Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Jenkins; son, Kolton Jenkins; daughter, Kylynn Jenkins, all of Okeechobee, Florida; mother, Fawn Barr (Robert), of Okeechobee, Florida; father, Marvin Jenkins (Gloria) of Old Town, Florida; brother, Zachary Jenkins (Ashley) of Fort Myers, Florida; maternal grandmother, Rene Maloon of Libby, Montana; mother-in-law, Tamela Norton (Wallace) of Okeechobee, Florida; sister-in-law, Leaha Boles (Donovan), of Okeechobee, Florida; brother-in-law, Shawn Norton (Jill) of Okeechobee, Florida; nieces and nephews, Adilynn Boles, Noah Jenkins, Isabella Jenkins, Bobby Jenkins, and Riylie Norton; devoted friend, Chris Hopkins of Melbourne, Florida; and countless aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Kyle's memory will forever live on in the lives of those he touched. Devoted husband, father, son, veteran, and follower of Christ
A visitation will be held 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2025 at T he Gathering, 1735 SW 24th AVE, Okeechobee, FL. Friends and family are invited to honor the legacy of a truly extraordinary man.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
