Kristy Walker Obituary

Kristy Angel Walker, 42, of Bayou L'Ourse, Louisiana suddenly passed away on July 10th, 2024. Her loss is completely unexpected, and her family is profoundly saddened. Kristy's life would seem too short to many, but those of us who were blessed to be touched by her understand that her existence and the imprint she left on our hearts exceed the quantity of time that she stayed here.

Kristy Walker was born on July 22, 1981 to Leah Ledet and Andy Walker in Morgan City, Louisiana. She went on to have one child, Paige Davis who was born on January 3, 2009 with Steven Davis. She was very passionate about being a mom and loving her daughter with her whole heart.

She had a smile that could make anyone's horrible day turn great, her heart was second to none. Her love was real, pure, intentional, and kind. She was known to many as a second mom because of the way she would care for you as you were her own just a few examples are Chloe Hayes, Cierra Boutwell, Mylo, Journi Marks, Justin Campo.

Through the years, she enjoyed spending time with family, loved drinking strong coffee just like her pawpaw everyday all day, she loved to stay home and take care of her mother and daughter.

Kristy Walker will be joining Kent Ledet, Betty Ledet, Glen Walker, Alice Walker, Rex Javins,Pat Foret,Ronnie Perrier, and Amanda Authement in heaven. She is survived by her mother Leah Ledet, her father Andy Walker and her step mom Sarah Walker. Her sisters Tabitha Walker Bennett and husband Alan Bennett, Crystal Walker, Brianne Taraba and husband Jacob Nunez, Brittany Cary and husband Dakota Cary, Heather Howell, and Catina Foret. Her Bothers, Matthew Walker, Andrew Taraba. Her nephews and nieces , Grant Walker and Wife Amber Swanson, Kelton Smith, Tyrese Walker, Brooklyn Bennett, Skye Aucoin, Devin Authement, Brooklyn Authement, Alyssa Authement, Kias Garcia, Atlas Nunez , Alice Nunez , Kasper Nunez, Ella Cary, Karlee Cary, Carter Cary, and Nyx Austria. Her Grandnieces, Nevaeh Hartdegen and Layla Swanson. And many loving cousins, aunts and uncles.

We have to believe she is in gods hands now, free of pain she will always be our special angel, Kristy Angel Walker always in our hearts.
