It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kirsten Glickman, who died peacefully on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at the age of 76.
Born on September 17, 1948, in Gardner, Massachusetts, Kirsten was the cherished daughter of the late Erhard and Betty Wickman Lindroth.
Over the course of her life, she built a rewarding career-beginning with Stevens Aviation, continuing with many dedicated years at Duke Energy, and later in life, joining her husband at Dependable Drum. Kirsten embraced each professional chapter with passion and purpose, exploring entrepreneurial endeavors along the way.
Kirsten's professional accomplishments were matched by her vibrant spirit and zest for life. She found happiness in entertaining, lighting up every room she entered with her charm and joyful laugh. Kirsten's love for singing and dancing was contagious, and she brought an infectious energy to every social and family gathering.
Kirsten was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William "Bill" Glickman; her brother, Kurt Lindroth; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. Surviving family members, honored to carry on Kirsten's legacy, include: daughter, Karlyn Salter (Russell) of Greer; stepdaughter, Stacy Fialkow (Emanuel) of Atlanta; stepson, Gary Glickman of Greenville; and adored grandchildren: Harris Salter, and Ethan, Samuel, Sydney, and Isaac Fialkow. She also leaves behind extended family members, cherished friends, and countless memories filled with the legacy of her light and love.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 6, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown in
Greenville, SC. A service in celebration of Kirsten's life will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel. There will be a private burial for family.
