Kevin Michael Lynn, 49, unexpectedly passed away on Monday, February 3, 2025, with his family by his side. He was born on February 14, 1975, to the late Michael Lynn and Sandra (White) Squint and later married Tabatha Lynn (Eskridge).

She survives along with their children, Alex, McKenna, and Braxton Lynn all of Mishawaka. Surviving also are siblings, Angela (David) Lynn of Mishawaka, Anthony (Cindy) Squint of Osceola, Tracy (Brad) Laskowski, of North Liberty, and Steve (Angie) Squint and Richard “Buck”, Jr. , both of Mishawaka, along with many other nieces and nephews.

Kevin dedicated over a decade of his career as a driver for Mattress Warehouse, known for his strong work ethic and reliability. A devoted son, he lovingly cared for his mother until his own health no longer allowed it. Kevin found joy in feel-good movies and TV sitcoms, especially Parks and Recreation, The Office, New Girl, and The Big Bang Theory, often sharing laughs with family and friends. A passionate NASCAR fan, he loyally supported South Bend’s own Ryan Newman and never missed a chance to cheer on Alabama football. His love for music was just as diverse as his interests, spanning country legends like Cole Swindell, Lee Brice, and Brooks & Dunn, to rock icons Journey and even Ice Cube. Kevin’s warmth, humor, and unwavering loyalty to those he loved, especially his kids, who were his world, will always be remembered. As a loving and caring father, he cherished them above all else.

A time to visit with family and friends is scheduled for Friday, February 7, from 4-6pm at Cruz Family Funeral Home, Osceola, with a service honoring his life beginning at 6pm. Following the service, cremation will take place.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Riley’s Children Hospital. To light a virtual candle, share a story of Kevin’s life, or extend a message of comfort to his family, please visit the Guestbook Tab.
