Kelle Navelda Dorsey was born on July 26, 1960 in Dayton, Ohio to Edward Eugene Dorsey and Velma Marie Phipps.

Kelle graduated from Patterson Cooperative high school in 1978 and attended Wilberforce University. She joined the United States Air Force in January 1980, where she specialized as a Telecommunications Operations Specialist (Sgt).

Kelle met the love of her life, Kirt E. Wise while stationed in Rhein-Main Air Base in Frankfurt, Germany. They wed in Lyngby, Denmark in 1984. They were united in holy matrimony for 41 years. To their union two children were born, Kevin E. Wise and Kierra N. Wise. They were a committed military family for over 20 years.

Kelle obtained a Bachelor’s in Criminal Justice from University of Phoenix. She worked as a caregiver for Edwards AFB Child Development Center. And later, West Tech International Inc. as a data collector conducted at Edwards AFB for testing drones and black hawks.

Kelle was a church goer and loved Jesus Christ as her lord and savior. She loved watching old western films, fishing with her husband and listening to worship music. She was a woman who built a foundation on warmth and empathy, who preferred kindness and gentleness above all else. Kelle touched the lives of many. She was a devoted daughter, beloved wife, compassionate mother and grandmother, cherished sister, adored aunt and loyal friend.

She leaves to cherish her memories, two children Kevin, Kierra(Michael) and three grandchildren Ali-Rae, Michael Jr. and Grace. Siblings; Fred Clement(Yvette), Davice Colvin, Caron Colvin-Gerald, Terri Colvin-Castro, Kim Colvin, Mycal Colvin, Keith Colvin, Sydney Dorsey, Aimee Dorsey and her beloved best friend of over 54 years Joan (Bonner) McCray.
