Kathleen M. Jeppe, age 98, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2025 in Wrentham, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late Carl E. Shell and Albert Jeppe. Born in Lee, ME, she was the oldest of three children born to the late Joseph B. and Margaret (Kennedy) Lowell.
Possessed with a happy and upbeat personality, Kathleen lived by the motto 'There's no sense in being miserable, because it will get you nowhere.' She enjoyed crafting and sewing and often sold her creations at local craft fairs. She kept and treasured every photo sent to her by family and friends and loved taking them out to share with her visitors. Her true passion was baseball and watching the Red Sox. She kept countless composition notebooks filled with stats from every Red Sox game. Kathleen was very proud of her time spent volunteering, most notably at Pawtuxet Baptist Church where she was a member and the Maples Rehab and Nursing Center where she later became a resident.
Kathleen was the devoted mother of Carl E. Shell Jr. (wife, Moni) and the late Sharon A. Anderson; cherished Grandma of Andre Shell (wife, Angela), Cindy Booth (husband, Chad) and the late Kristen Anderson; great-grandmother of Sebastian Shell. She was the sister of the late Louise Duquette and Jospeh Lowell Jr. and the mother-in-law of the late Richard Anderson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews who have fond memories of time spent with 'Aunt Kitty'.
Her Funeral will be Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at 10am in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Interment will immediately follow in the RI Veterans' Memorial Cemetery. A Visitation will be held Monday, March 11, 2025 from 5-7pm in the funeral home.
