A self-proclaimed master of the grill, he delighted in gathering friends and family around his barbecue creations. A skilled pool player and an ardent fan of classic Westerns, his vibrant personality and easy laughter left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Lester is preceded in death by his brothers, H.G. and Billy Crawford; his sister, Linda Kay Jones; and his nieces, Landa Yester and Tammy Granner. He is survived by his brothers, Wayne (Pauline) and Charles (Susie) Crawford of Lake Butler, and Larry (Joyce) Crawford of Raiford; his sisters, Sue Adams of Alachua, Pat (Chuck) Kuhr of High Springs, Barbara (Bill) Sefcik, Martha (Bill) Stein, and Kim (Rodney) Barnett of Lake Butler; as well a numerous nieces, nephews, and dear friends who cherished his spirit.
The family requests that memorial honor Lester's love for the community and shared joy. A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at Archer-Milton Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm.
