Jessie Mae Davis was born in Detroit, Michigan.
Jessie resided at Notting Hill of West Bloomfield for the last seven years.
Preceding her in death were her parents Edward and Edna Wilson, and her siblings William, Edward, Lillian, Charles, Phillip, Roger and Ilene.
And her surviving siblings are her sisters Gloria and Carolyn and her brother Emile (Ricky)
Lester Davis and Jessie were married in 1960. That union produced six children:
Cheryl Ann (Allen, deceased) Trina Louise (Leonard, deceased), Lester Reginald (Nicole), Steven Orlando (deceased), Gwendolyn Serene (Robert) and Courtney Alan.
Jessie retired as a Nursing Assistant and went on to enjoy her life with family and friends.
Jessie leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and dear friends.
Jessie was resilient. Resilience is the capacity to withstand or to recover quickly from difficulties.
Scripture found in James 1:12, Blessed is the one who perseveres under trial because, having stood the test, that person will receive the crown of life that the Lord has promised to those who love him.
