Jesse Christopher Franke, age 43 of Fourmile, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on January 14, 2025. Jesse was born on June 10, 1981, in Jacksonville, Florida to John L. Franke, Jr. and Peggy Jo Franke. He was a faithful member of the Turkey Creek Baptist Church in Flat Lick, Kentucky where he enjoyed working with the youth and cooking sausage for the men’s prayer breakfast. He was an active member of The Friends of the Gideons. He loved to fish and would go every chance he had. His other hobbies include RC cars, trucks, planes and any other RC product he could afford.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John L. Franke Sr., Maggie Franke, Steve Hensley and his stepbrother, Jonathan Lee Guess.
He leaves behind to mourn, a loving mother, Peggy Jo Guess and stepfather Lee Guess of Fourmile, Kentucky, father, John L. Franke, Jr. and wife Candace of Cedar Key, Florida, brother, Jack L. Franke of Flat Lick, Kentucky, brother, Curtis A. Franke of Virginia, stepbrother, Robert E. Guess of Jacksonville, Florida, daughters, Destiny Baker of Addison, Alabama and Ciara Miller and granddaughter Isriah Marie Boston, special friend and fishing buddy, Les Brown of Barbourville, plus many other family members, friends and loved ones.
Funeral services for Jesse will be held at the Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home on Sunday, January 19, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lonnie Collett and Rev. Eli Broughton officiating. He will be laid to rest in the Franke Cemetery in Fourmile beside his grandparents. Pallbearers will be Jack L. Franke, Zachary L. Franke, Lester Hensley, Daniel R. Hensley, Mike Broughton and Cameron Smith. Hampton-Hutton Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 noon until the hour of service at 2:00 p.m.
