She is survived by her longtime companion Russell, Newell; sons, Courtney T. Kendrick (Lori) of Walden, Timothy Kendrick (Elizabeth) of Wurtsboro; brothers, Randy Fanuiel of Syracuse and Tyrone Allen of California; grandchildren, Zack, Olivia, Jillian, Ariana and Sincere; great grandchildren, Amelia and Keirra ; several nieces and nephews.
Janet was predeceased by her siblings; Laverne Everett, Brenda Embry and Tyrice Allen.
Memorial contributions may be made in Janet's name to the Newburgh Ministry 9 Johnston Street Newburgh, Newburgh,NY 12550
Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday February 15, 2026 from 1-3 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586 (845) 778-3811 gridleyhoran.com

Our Miss Janet/Sissy, we are so blessed to have you in our lives. You are such a sweet, caring, loving, understanding woman that truly touched our Family. We will always hold you in our hearts with lots of love. We used to always say to each other that God put us together for a reason. That was one of the best parts of that Facility, you in with our Betty. Hope you & she are together catching up. We Thank you for being the person you are. I will miss our chats, laugh & hugs. Sissy, we love you always, Kathy & the Abrams Family. Till we meet again, Hugs <3

Condolences to Janet´s Family. Janet graduated with me in 1975. I contact Janet in 2014 so, she could come to the All Class Reunion. Janet did attended the reunion in August with many of her friends and classmates. I was glad she came and shared a great day with so many friends that walked the Halls of ECHS. RIP Janet.
