James Ernest Stewart, (Jimmy Jimmy) age 73 of Richmond, departed this life on January 4, 2026. He is survived by his life partner, Alfreda Winston; one daughter, Delmar Washington; two sons, Malden Bennett and Ronnell Winston (Kim); five grandchildren; one great granddaughter; three sisters, Earlene Smith, Doris Taylor and Linda Thaniel; three brothers, William Stewart, Almus Adkins and Joe Thornton; one aunt, Ann Parker; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 9, 2026, 3:30pm, at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011 Grayland Avenue. Rev. Dr. Carl A. Hamiel, Officiating. Family and friends are asked to assemble at the funeral home at 3:15pm on Friday.
