Jim served his country in the United States Army Airborne Division. He was a proud veteran, a member of Arcadia Masonic lodge for 40+ years, and a Shriner. Jim was an intelligent man, and although he had a tough exterior, he was full of love for his family.

Jimmy and I grew up together in Cannons Campground. We went thru 12 grades together, and remained friends throughout all these years. I haven´t seen him since I retired as he was a customer of my bank. He was a special person, I was friends with his Jan too. We met through her cousin Priscilla Cooksey Belue. I was saddened to hear of both their passings My condolences to his family.
