J. Holley Obituary

Published by Legacy on Dec. 25, 2024.
J Paul Holley III, 68, of Anchorage passed away on December 20, 2024, from the recurrence of melanoma.
Paul loved the Lord and believed that all people die, but not all people live. Paul lived a great life full of travel; family and friends that adored him and his wonderful quick wit; a profession that he loved for over 40 years on the North Slope of Alaska; and a never-ending list of projects that he would complete "some day" because he described himself as the world's best procrastinator.
He will be loved and missed by all who knew him, but especially his wife, Jan Miyagishima Holley, and his 2 dogs. Paul also leaves behind Jan's family, whom he considered his own, nieces and nephews, grandchildren, his best friend Jack Hankins, and his sister, Kathleen Floistad.
Memorial donations may be made to the Anchorage Gospel Rescue Misson in honor of Paul.
A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held at O'Malley's on the Green on January 9th at 4pm.
