Ina Louise Wade, 54, of Columbus, passed from this life at 4:55 a.m. Friday, February 6, 2026 at Franciscan Health in Indianapolis.
Born May 7, 1971, in
Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of Leona and Joe Timbrook. Her journey began in the heart of her beloved city, Columbus, where she was born and where she raised her family with the same zest for life that defined her every action. Ina's life was a testament to the idea that joy and love are the ultimate milestones.
Ina's passion for the rumble of a Harley-Davidson beneath her was known to all who loved her. She navigated life's highways with grace, strength, and an unmistakable laugh that echoed in the hearts of those who knew her. Her spirit of independence and love for the open road were paralleled only by the deep love she had for her family.
Ina's legacy endures through her devoted children, Terrence Wade and Alison "Kailie" Overfelt, both of Columbus, who will forever cherish the memories of a mother whose vibrancy shaped their lives. The light of her life continued to shine in the eyes of her grandchildren, Aliyah Wade and Raven Wright, who were her pride and joy.
Her siblings, Devon Pace of Seymour and Deloris "Raemona" Henderson of Columbus, along with her nieces, Carissa Bischoff and Duranda Pace, and nephew, Charles Pace, all of Columbus, remember Ina as a force of nature whose love knew no bounds.
Fondly remembered are Ina's two cats, who provided her with companionship and comfort, quietly sharing in the many moments of her life. Though preceded in death by her parents and brother Billy Pace. Ina's exuberant personality and passion for life ensured that her memory will forever be enshrined in the hearts of all who had the privilege to know her.
Ina Louise Wade's story does not end here; it rides on through the countless lives she touched and the love she freely gave. Her journey through life was as thrilling as any road she ever traveled, and as the wind carries the sound of a motorcycle's roar to the heavens, we know that Ina is still riding, free and unbound, in a place where the roads never end.
The funeral will be held at 12:30 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Family and friends may gather for a time of visitation from 11:00 a.m. to time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
