Heather Easton Obituary

Published by Legacy on Feb. 5, 2025.
Heather was born on September 14th, 1983 to David and Wendee Easton. She had one older brother, Jacob, and has one younger brother, Joshua, as well as her sister-in-law, Ashley, and niece, Juniper, and grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Heather grew up in Fairbanks. She treasured spending time with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and brothers in the spring at snow picnics and at the Ice Park, and in the summer fishing, boating, doing crafts, and having campfires at Lake Clark. Heather also loved to take road trips and go on picnics. Heather was always on the lookout for interesting rocks to add to her collection. Heather also enjoyed spending time with her spiritual family at weekly meetings and annual assemblies and conventions, and loved just getting together with them. When Heather was 13, she dedicated herself to God and was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. She enjoyed sharing her hope for the future with doctors, nurses and others that she came in contact with. Despite her disabilities Heather was able to live independently for 20 years until her death on January 14th of this year. She will be missed by her family and friends.
