Gloria Mae Lamb Heitfield Obituary
Gloria loved Bob Seger. She was a lifetime lover of nature and wild animals. She loved being an assistant scout master, but her greatest love was her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her fiancé, Jeremy Bradley; three sisters, Jamie Salgado (Jose) of Brooksville, Florida, Luci "Missy" Sanborn (Philip) of Brooksville, Florida, Carolyn Lamb Burgess (Tony) of Richmond, Indiana; five children, Steven Heitfield (Karen) of Old Town, Florida, Tracy Heitfield Mitchell of Asheville, North Carolina, Charles Heitfield (Laura) of Old Town, Florida, Gabriel Heitfield (Amanda) of Miami, Florida and Sondra Torres Lawson (Tal) of Inman, South Carolina; 26 grandchildren, David, Rebecca, Leticia, Reynaldo, Wyatt, Dalton, Carolina, Keira, Vincent, Charleigh, Chevy, Lane, Keirsten, Summer, Sierra, Jessie, Justice, Maria, Colin, Maya, Ciara, Glorianna, Trey, Autumn, Dylan, Aiden, Julian, Jamien, and Lilith; six great-grandchildren, Braylee, Bentley, Zorybiyan, Alaigha, Zendaya and Olivia; countless nieces, nephews, and great nieces and great nephews that she adored. She was loved, is loved and will be loved always and forever
A Funeral Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Friday, April 4, 2025, at Hominy Baptist Church in Candler, NC, with Reverends Melissa Hughes and Paul Raybun officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, at the church.
