Gerard "Jerry" A. Sieradzki, 82, of South Bend, Indiana passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025 at Memorial Hospital. He was born on December 15, 1942 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Casimir J. and Doris H. (Radlowski) Sieradzki. On July 8, 1972 he married Lorraine A. Jenczewski who survives. Gerard is also survived by two sisters, Carolyn (Douglas) Lyle of Gallatin, Tennessee, Darlene Noe of Granger, Indiana, two step sisters, Angeline Bajer and Joan Petrowski, two sisters in laws, Evelyn (Dennis) Horvath and Joan (Frank) Perusek and several nieces and nephews, Charlene (Colin) McCaffrey, Brenda (Brett) Fowler, Christie (Matt) Gray, Brian Noe, Michelle (Jim) Korteway, Janet Crabtree and Jennifer (Joshua) Hayes.
Jerry was a Tool&Die maker for fifty years. He was the jack of all trades. He always enjoyed having a project going and helping others. Jerry most enjoyed the challenge of working on and restoring classic cars and spending time with his car buddies. His Catholic faith and family were very important to him. Jerry enjoyed participating and volunteering at St. Stanislaus Church and all of the family get togethers. Jerry will be greatly missed by his loving wife and all family and friends.
A visitation for Jerry will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Dr. South Bend, IN from 3:00 pm until 7:00 pm. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 pm. A Requiem Mass will be held on Tuesday, February 18, 2025 at St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Church, 415 N. Brookfield St., South Bend, IN 46628 at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stanislaus Bishop and Martyr Church in Jerry's honor.
