Coventry, RI - Frank L. Martin, 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 31, 2025, at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Center in Providence, RI.
For 60 wonderful years, Frank shared his life with his beloved wife, Patricia (Steffy) Martin, building a home filled with love, laughter, and devotion. A quiet and unassuming gentleman, Frank cared deeply for his family, always putting their needs above his own. He was a great provider and a steady, supportive presence-a husband and father who led by example with kindness, integrity, and hard work.
Frank enjoyed a successful 30-year career in outside sales for a specialty architectural glass manufacturer. In his younger years, he attended Florida State University on a swimming scholarship, earning recognition as an All-State and All-New England Swimming Champion.
Beyond his career, Frank found the greatest joy golfing with family and friends, watching MASH* and James Bond movies, and had a deep love for animals-especially his late pug, Sadie, and his cherished cat, Ophelia.
In addition to his wife, Pat, Frank is survived by his daughter, Lori Potter, his son, Quinn Martin, and his three beloved grandchildren, Allie, Tessa, and Grace, all of whom he adored. His quiet strength, love, and dedication to his family will forever remain in their hearts.
All services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Frank's memory may be made to HopeHealth Hospice, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904, in gratitude for the compassionate care he and his family received in his final days.
The family would also like to extend their heartfelt appreciation to the Hope Alzheimer's Center Day Care and the South Kingstown Memory Care community for the kindness, support, and exceptional care they provided to Frank and his family throughout his journey.
