Flossie Evelyn Wolfenbarger Perkey, 98, of Maryville went to her heavenly home on March 14, 2025, where she was reunited with her husband Jim Perkey; parents Dewey and Janie Wolfenbarger; sisters Bill Hill, Beulah Wolfenbarger, Tressie Washam, and Ann Dyer; and brothers Glen, Lloyd, and Boyd Wolfenbarger. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Benny and Nancy Perkey; granddaughters Karen (Gary) Swaney, Kathy (Matthew Mench) Williams, and Kim James; great grandchildren Jenny (Collin Poole) Swaney, MaKayla James, and Logan Swaney; great-great grandchildren Owen, Wyatt, and Ila Poole.
She was a loving mother and Granny who will be greatly missed by her family, especially all of her grandchildren who will never forget the selfless love she brought to their lives. They find comfort in knowing that her legacy lives on through the lessons she taught them, the unconditional love she shared, and the memories they will cherish forever.
She was a gifted seamstress and worked most of her career at American Clothing and Levi Straus & Co. She was a devout Christian and member of Broadway Baptist Church in Maryville for over 67 years. The family would like to give special thanks to her pastors Tony and Steve, Anita Edwards, and the rest of her church family for all the love, support, and prayers they have provided.
