Evelyn Richards Obituary

Evelyn Fern (McGinnis) Richards, 90, of Mishawaka passed away on Sunday, March 9th 2025 at St. Joseph Hospital Mishawaka.
Evelyn was born on May 18, 1934, in Medaryville, IN to the late James and Ruby (Paige) McGinnis.
Surviving are her beloved daughters; Laurel L. Richards and Dana E. Richards. Her grandchildren; Sarah S. Brough, Robert J. Kucharski, and Karlee A. Ring. As well as her great grandchildren, Kyren J. And Rylee Z. Kucharski.
She is also survived by brothers James and John McGinnis and sister Gloria Hudak. Evelyn was preceded in death by Husband James S. Richards, brother Robert McGinnis, Sisters Betty McGinnis, Carol Wash, Rosemary McGinnis, and Janet Rybinski. Evelyn was a member of Albright United Methodist Church of Mishawaka for many years. Evelyn was a certified QMA as well as a waitress in Connecticut in her younger years. Evelyn loved to be outdoors working in her garden. She loved doing puzzles, playing board games with family and friends, garage sales and traveling. Evelyn had many friends, medical caregivers who became close friends, and family who showed a great deal of care for her, especially her beloved Nieces. Evelyn will live on forever in the many hearts she has touched in her long life.
