She was a member of the Parish of All Saints in Millville. Her hobbies included painting, drawing, arts and crafts, and she was a talented seamstress, and a phenomenal cook.
Elaine will be sadly missed by her children, Robyn Ann Vai, Robert Lewis Vai and Ronda Lee Vai-Bishop; two sisters, Dorothy Douglas and Dolly Doyle; three grandchildren, Robert Bishop, Rebeccalynn Bishop and Bobby Levai Michel; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and her companion/partner Charles Parker. She was predeceased by her husband Robert L. Vai; and one sister Alta Davies.
A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025 at the Parish of All Saints, Buck and Depot Streets, Millville. There will be a visitation on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the Christy Funeral Home, 11 W. Broad St., Millville.
