Home. Ed was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA., the oldest of Edward and Estella White.
He attended Resurrection of Our Lord Grade School, LaSalle College High School and graduate
from LaSalle University.
Ed is survived by his brothers and sisters, Larry White, Estella W. Plewes (James),
Jim White (Carol deceased), Margaret J. Matysik (William) and Sister-in-Law Lori White (Pat deceased)
Edward was a loving Uncle for Kathleen Matysik (Corey), Stephen Matysik (Isabelle),
James White, Ryan White, Amy White, Julie White (Sam), Alfred Plewes (Ariel),
James Plewes (Melissa) and a Great Uncle to Siena Plewes.
Ed was a member of Our Lady of Pouille Chapter St Dominic Lay Fraternity.
Relative and friends are invited to attend his Life Celebration at Resurrection of Our Lord
Church, 2000 Shelmire Street on Friday June 28, 2024. A viewing will be held from 9:30AM to 10:30AM followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 AM,
Interment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

I just saw Ed´s death notice on LCHS newsletter. I knew Ed all through school - Resurrection and LaSalle HS. He drove me to school in senior year. I used to see him at mass as was there when my daughter was baptized. Last time I saw him was at a HS reunion. He was one of the nicest guys and I do miss him. My condolences to his family.

My Dad (Jerry White, 1st cousin) would take us to their house in the summertime to go swimming in their pool. Eddie was 10 yrs older than me but he was always very nice to us. He'll be missed. Rest in peace Eddie. Kathy Scott (White)
