Dorothy A. (Watkins) Wolf, age 73, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of William Babcock with whom she shared 27 years of companionship. Born in Providence, she was one of four daughters born to the late Charles J. and Madeline A. (LeClair) Watkins.
Known for her unconditional love, spontaneous and contagious laughter, Dotty Ann's arms were always open to family and friends. She had an extraordinary gift for nurturing deep, long-lasting relationships, making friends feel like family. Dotty Ann's listening ear and sound advice made her a close confidante to many. Her lingering sense of humor and laughter brought joy to all. She will always be remembered for the love she shared with those who knew her as Mom, Dotty Ann, Grammy, Friend and Auntie.
She was the devoted mother of Jonja A. Russo (husband, Vincent) and the late Charles J. Wolf; cherished 'Grammy' of Jolena Russo, Jonathon Russo, Ella Jo Lavoie, Benjamin Lavoie, Kristen Russo, Vincent Russo Jr., and the late Aaron Russo; great-grandmother of Alessondra Russo and Kaitlyn Degnan and great-great-grandmother of Saint Degnan. Dorothy was the sister of Gloria Besson, Linda Manor and the late Theresa Weiss. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who were all loved by 'Auntie Dot.'
A Visitation will be held Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 2-5pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Her interment will be private.
