Dona Flynn Obituary

Dona Ann Flynn (Rosa), 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 17, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was the devoted daughter of Elsie (Pimentel) Rosa and the late Edward Rosa. Dona is survived by her loving children Crystal Rosa, Stephanie Flynn and Anthony Garofalo II; her beloved life partner David Kersey; her adoring grandchildren Julianna Viera, Nevaeha Coelho, Anthony Garofalo III and Luciano Garofalo. She also leaves behind her sister Diane Rosa and husband Charles, as well as her sister Janice Martin. She is predeceased by her beloved granddaughter Alexis Silva and her brothers Richard and Edward Rosa.
A lifelong resident of Rhode Island, Dona was never far away from her favorite place, the beach. She was always full of life and shared that positivity with those close to her. A woman of great faith, Dona kept religion close all the way to the end. She loved and cared for her family, especially her grandchildren, who will all miss her dearly.
A visitation will be held Thursday, January 23, 2025, from 4:00pm to 7:00pm with a service beginning at 7:00pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick. Her burial will be private.
