Dolores Del Monego Obituary
Dolores Del Monego, age 96 of Panama City, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2026 at her home. Dolores was born April 7, 1929 in Bernalillo, New Mexico to Antonio and Nellie (Marquez) Zamora, and moved to Panama City in 1971 coming from San Antonio, TX with her late husband, Deno, and her family.
Dolores was a faithful member of St. John The Evangelist Catholic Church. Dolores enjoyed spending time working in her garden, traveling, time at the casino, but mostly she enjoyed her family.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Deno, her parents, her son Gregory Flores, brother Richard Zamora, her sister Martha Zamora, her son-in-law, Rob Maly, and her great granddaughter Reianna Jones. Dolores is survived by her daughters Dona Maly of Soldotna, AK, Deborah Del Monego of Panama City, LaNell (Michael) Jones of Cary, NC; her sons Joseph (Claire) Del Monego of Panama City Beach, and Robert (JuliAnne) Del Monego of Tallahassee; her sister, Rose (Roy) Bauska of Grants, NM and sister-in-law, Lea Miller of Lewis Run, PA; her grandchildren Michael (Angela Vallier) Maly of Stuart, VA, Jason (Carla) Flores of Tularosa, NM, Eleanore Paramore of Lynn Haven, Stefanie (Jeffrey Runion) Del Monego of Enterprise, AL, Anthony (Nicolle) Del Monego of Tallahassee, Daniel, Nikolas (Brittany), Marina and Stephen Del Monego all of Tallahassee, Jason Jones of Holly Springs, NC, nineteen great grandchildren, five great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The Del Monego family also give special gratitude to her caregivers, Lucky Davis and Cynthia Barfield and in her final weeks, to Emerald Coast Hospice and its staff.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 24, 2026 at St. John's Catholic Church.
The family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. Friday, January 23, 2026 at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
