Dawn Mayon Costa, age 52, a native and resident of Amelia, LA, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2024.
Dawn is survived by her husband, Jonatas Costa; her children, Morgan Splane, Haley Stevens, and Kaley Stevens; her granddog, Stevie; her brothers, Johnny Mayon (Lisa) and Jeffery Mayon; her step-mother, Doris Fryou; her niece, Allison Mayon; her great niece Kennedy Rose, her people, Joline Brown, Jason Brown, and Joshua Brown. She is also survived by many friends.
Dawn was preceded in passing by her daughter, Corrine Mayon; her parents, Louis "Nue" Mayon, Jr. and Eva Solar Mayon; her precious pups, Carlos and Tuttie; and her nephew, Jordan Mayon.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation in honor of Dawn on Sunday, August 11, 2024 at Twin City Funeral Home from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
Dawn was an artist, writer, photographer, and nature lover. She was the love of Jonatas' life and will be deeply missed by all. She was a Peer Support Specialist at St. Mary Mental Health and dedicated her life to helping others.
