David A. Fernandez, a dedicated and respected retired Sheriff's Officer from The Monmouth County Sheriff's Department, passed away peacefully on January 23rd at the age of 78. David served his community with distinction for 30 years, earning the admiration of colleagues and residents alike for his unwavering commitment to upholding the law and protecting the public. Following his retirement, David continued to be an active member of the community, deeply cherished by his family and friends. He is survived by his children, Mark Fernandez and his daughter-in-law Rosa L. Fernandez, Danette Fernandez-Quigley and son-in-law Brendan Quigley and grandson Mason Quigley and granddaughter Briana Bittner Fernandez, and daughter Adrianna Fernandez.
Per Mr. Fernandez's request, there will be no services.
