Mr. Darrell Wayne (D.W.) Lang, 84, of Albertville Alabama, passed away peacefully on

Mr. Lang was known for his unwavering kindness toward all whose paths he crossed. His
warm spirit, strong character, and deep compassion for others were evident in everything
he did. He had an innate ability to make those around him feel valued and loved. His quiet
strength, generosity, and humility left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of
knowing him. Darrell was the kind of man who, without hesitation, put others before
himself, offering support and comfort with sincerity and grace.
Mr. Lang was preceded in death by his much-loved and respected brother, Mr. Larry V.
Hillsman, fathers-in-law, Mr. Bernard Poe and Mr. Floyd Henry, mother-in-law, Mrs.
Nadine Henry, and brother-in-law, Mr. Tony Poe.
He leaves behind his adored and devoted wife, Mrs. Linda Poe Lang. Together, they shared
a beautiful life full of love and commitment for fifty-seven years. He was the proud father
of Brad Lang (Claire), and daughter, Angela Blackstone (Les), both of whom he deeply
cherished. His love for his children was boundless, and he delighted in their success and
happiness. Darrell's legacy continues through his beloved grandchildren: Will Lang, Emma
Lang, Anna Lang, Peyton Blackstone, and Zoey Blackstone, all of whom brought
immeasurable joy and pride to his life.
He is survived by a sibling, Mrs. Myra Jo Dickerson (James). Other survivors include his
sisters-in-law, Mrs. Janie Margaret Hillsman and Mrs. Kathy Poe Edge (Craig), and Mrs. Susan Henry Barber.
Other surviving family include his cherished nieces and nephews: Stuart Dickerson (Sam),
Cynthia (Chris) Traylor, Brian (Sharon) Dickerson, Amy Hillsman, Chris (Sharon) Poe and
Mandy (Sam) McCain, Michelle Henry, and Jodi Wells (Mark)
