Darline Christian, age 73 and formerly from West Virginia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 28, 2024 at the Beloved Health and Rehabilitation Center in Hannibal, MO. She was born on March 11, 1951 in Ravenden, Arkansas, to Charley Morgan and Mae (Adair) Morgan. Darline married Jack Christian.
Darline enjoyed traveling from place to place, often stopping and seeing the sites. She was well known for her beautiful smile and was a free spirit living life to the fullest, until she became a victim of Dementia lasting for seven years until her death.
Survivors include her husband, Jack Christian of West Virginia; three children, Missa (Kevin) Gerveler of Ewing, MO, John (Kim) Barnett of Palmyra, MO, and Dawn (Kane) McGlothlin of Waxahachie, TX; grandchildren, Ashley (Michael) Lay, Kelsey (Cody) Hill, Abbey Gerveler, Evan Barnett, Blake (Lydia) Barnett, MaKayla McGlothlin, and Kenady McGlothlin; a great-granchild, Lila Lay; sisters, Louise Baker of Mendon, IL, Linda (Dale) Begley of Philadelphia, MO; and a brother, John (Donna) Morgan of Elk Creek, MO. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Dean Bell, Bonnie Box, Christine Adkins, and Gayle Stringer; and brothers, Bill Morgan, Billy Joe Morgan and Kenneth Morgan.
A private burial will be held at a later date in the Little Union Cemetery near Philadelphia, MO. Pastor Dale Begley of Pea Ridge Community Church will conduct the services. Niebur Funeral Chapel in Barry, IL, is handling the arrangements. Online condolences may be left to the family at www.nieburfh.com.
