It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Dale William VanDyke, a devoted husband and father who left this world on February 20th at the age of 60. His unwavering love for his family, and many talents left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Dale was a man of quiet strength. His calm presence was a source of comfort to his family, friends, and all who encountered him. His steady, unhurried demeanor and ability to listen deeply were qualities that were admired by all those around him. In moments of celebration or times of hardship, Dale remained the calm in the storm with his reassuring and steady presence.
Dale was a man of many talents. A skilled craftsman, problem solver, and an artist in his own right, he enjoyed working with his hands and creating something from nothing. He embraced the beauty of the world with quiet reverence, whether forging a master piece, playing golf, fishing by the river, relaxing at the cabin or simply sitting under the stars next to a camp fire with family.
Dale was a dedicated family man. His love for his wife, children, and extended family was evident in every interaction. He was a source of wisdom, guidance, and support for all and was always there to offer a helping hand.
Dale William VanDyke is survived by his loving wife, Kirsten; children Max, Kaden and Mitch; brothers Mike, Kip and Kay, as well as many other family members and friends whose lives he touched with kindness and generosity.
Although he is no longer with us, Dale's calm, steady presence will continue to live on in the hearts of those who loved him. His life was a testament to the power of quiet strength, and he will be deeply missed!
A memorial service will be held on March 10th at Heritage Chapel at Angelus, 440 East Klatt Road, Anchorage, AK 99515 @ 1:00PM.
