Christine Cantwell Obituary

FORT WORTH - Christine Marie Cantwell, 66, passed away on March 6, 2025.
Christine was born on February 14, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas to parents William Marchbanks and Doreen Comerford. She graduated from Western Hills High School in 1977, and was a member of the National Honor Society and Tennis Team. She later attended Texas Tech University after graduation.
She was a distinguished Escrow Officer for over 35 years in the Fort Worth area.
Christine loved country music and often attended shows at Billy Bob's and Dickies Arena. Her favorites include Cross Canadian Ragweed, Jack Ingram, Keith Urban and her nephew, Granger Smith. She loved shopping, especially for purses, shoes and pictures of cows. So many pictures of cows. One of her favorite getaways was going to Winstar with her sister. She would always win and say it's her lucky guardian angel pointing out what machine to play.
Her faith was quiet but present. She often spoke of angels and the hope of eternity.
Christine was preceded in death by parents, William Marchbanks and Doreen Comerford; step-father, Dennis Comerford; and great-nephew, River Smith.
She is survived by her ex-husband, Steven Cantwell; step-children, Crystal and Jacob Cantwell; sister, Cynthia Campbell; half-sisters, Lisa Marchbanks and Debra DeFalco; half-brothers, Scott Comerford and William Marchbanks; brother-in-law, Daniel Campbell; sister-in-law, Emily Comerford; niece, Amber Smith and husband, Granger; nephews, Lewis Comerford and Colin Bartlett and wife, Shaina; and cousins, Tony and John Lewis. Also surviving are her special great niece and nephews, Rylan, London, Blaine, Lincoln, Kasen, Karson and Maverick.
