Charles Wayne "Chuck" Hulse, 47, of North Vernon, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 25, 2025, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born September 15, 1977, Seymour, he was the son of Patty (Fletcher) Owens and the late Charles L. Hulse.
Chuck retired after 25 years of working on the finish line at North Vernon Industry Corporation (NVIC). He enjoyed fishing, hunting, tinkering with cars, forge making, and black smithing. Chuck loved spending time with his children.
Survivors include his children, Dawson Brady, Kiva Dior, Cody Dior, and Aleah Dior, all of North Vernon; his mother, Patty (Bryan) Owens, of North Vernon; his brother, Timothy (Carmen) Hulse of North Vernon; his girlfriend, Kristen Browning of North Vernon; special friend, Michelle Betts; mother of his children, Tracey Dior; several nieces, nephews and cousins; one great-niece; and one great-nephew.
He was preceded in death by his father and his grandparents, Lloyd and Betty Fletcher, Mary Hulse, and Mary Boyd.
A funeral service for Chuck will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Dale Boyd officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be held from 2:00 p.m. until the start of the service.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home in honor of Chuck for funeral expenses.
