Brent Walker Obituary

Brent Kerry Walker, 65, of Granger, Indiana was born on October 26, 1959, in South Bend, Indiana to the union of Walter Walker, II and Addie Walker. He passed away on February 5, 2025 at Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
A lifelong resident of South Bend, Brent was a graduate of LaSalle High School class of 1978. From there, he attended Ball State University and later pursued his studies at Indiana University where he earned an associate degree in Radiology. Shortly after, in 1981 he became a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc.
Following his education, Brent dedicated his career to St. Joseph Regional Medical Center working as a Radiologic Technologist from the early 1990's until his retirement in 2021. In 1991, Brent met Marian and became husband and wife on November 8, 1997. Brent leaves to cherish his memories, his daughters Melissa Nicks of Indianapolis, IN, Dornita Walker of South Bend, IN; one brother, Walter Walker, III; one sister Minnie Franklin, both of South Bend; along with a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many dear friends.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marian Nicks-Walker; his parents, Walter Walker, II and Addie Walker; sisters Rosa Johnson, Patricia Austin, Brenda Walker; and one brother Kevin Walker.
Services for Brent K. Walker will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Palmer Funeral Home West Chapel, 2702 Lincolnway West, South Bend, Indiana with visitation to begin at 10:00 AM, followed by the funeral service at 11:00 AM.
Brent will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved him.
