Brenda Anne Gibbons, 68, of Torrington, CT, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, February 25, 2025. Brenda was born on May 29, 1956 in Torrington, CT, the daughter of the late Roger Nadeau and Rita (Aube) Nadeau.
Brenda grew up on Highland Lake in Winchester, CT and was a graduate of Gilbert School, class of 1974.
She had previously worked as a graphic art designer at Executive Greetings and The Register Citizen and had recently enjoyed the last few years being retired.
She was a devoted Mother and Nana to her 3 beautiful grandchildren who were her entire world. Her family was her everything and what she lived for. She loved shopping and her weekly Marzano luncheons with her closest girlfriends. She loved to crochet beautiful cozy blankets for all of her family and friends. She was a collector of gems and precious stones, loved vacationing with her family and friends, and loved all animals, especially her cat.
She was a kind and giving soul who was always there for her family. She never missed a birthday or holiday or a special event. She loved to joke and be silly and give you a hard time, but was also sensitive and caring and had the biggest heart, gave the best hugs and had a laugh that would fill and warm the room.
She is survived by her only daughter, Kristin LeBlanc and her husband Vernon LeBlanc of Torrington, CT, their children, Colton, Weston and Hadley, as well as her brother, Wayne Nadeau and his wife Diane (Beauregard) Nadeau of Torrington, CT.
Brenda will be so greatly and deeply missed. Until we meet again in Heaven.
