Beverly H. Phillips July 7, 1936 - March 20, 2025
Beverly H. Phillips of Hampstead, NC, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, March 20, 2025. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Wood Humphreys; her father, Acil Humphreys; and her close cousin, Sarah Graham. She is survived by her loving husband, Fred Phillips; daughters, Robin Soles (Wayne), Tammy Campbell (Tim), and Tonya Hicks; and stepchildren, Donna Hollibaugh, Lori Prigen (Charlie), and Kenny Phillips. Beverly also leaves behind a wonderful legacy of numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Beverly and Fred enjoyed 22 years of marriage, creating a large, blended family where each member was cherished. Beverly had a servant's heart and dedicated her time to volunteering at adult daycare services, visiting Woodbury Wellness multiple times a week, and delivering meals on wheels for many years. Beverly and Fred enjoyed traveling together and spending time at home with their friends and family.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the CNA and nursing staff of the Walker Taylor Community of Davis for their support and care for Beverly.
A Memorial Service will be held at Hampstead United Methodist Church, 15395 US-17, Hampstead, NC 28443 on Saturday, March 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family would be grateful for donations to the church, made in her memory, link below.
