Betty Cooper Obituary
Betty Faye Cooper, 82, of Rockingham, NC, formerly of Belmont, NC passed away April 20, 2017 at Pruitt Nursing in Rockingham, NC. Ms. Cooper was born May 19, 1934 in Cleveland County to the late Theodore and Lizzie Quinn Propst. She was also preceded in death by her husband Arthur Cooper, sisters Ruth Johnson, Lois Payne and brothers, Elmer, Gaither and Clyde Propst as well as 2 grandchildren Arthur Horne and Dwayne Simmons. Betty loved vegetable gardening and the beach. She dearly loved her family especially her grandchildren. Survivors include her children, Danny Horne (Debbie), Debbie Saunders (James), Susie Tribble (Angelo), Rita Pillar (Bill) and Jan Trejo. Special sons, Anthony Armstrong and Todd Stevens. Brother, Donald Propst (Sandy), 10 grand, 15 great grandchildren and 9 great- great grandchildren. Graveside Services to celebrate Betty’s life will be held at 3:00 PM Monday April 24 at Mountain Rest Cemetery in Kings Mountain. Online Condolences may be made at www.bensonfuneralservices
