Mrs. Annette S. Amendolare
Frankfort - Mrs. Annette S. Amendolare, 99, passed away on January 26, 2026, in the Abraham House, Rome.
She was born on March 24, 1926 in Utica, the daughter of the late Sarrigio and Marie Scanio and she attended schools there. She was married to Patsy "Pat" Amendolare on July 18, 1942 in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Utica. Pat passed away on March 13, 1998. Annette was employed by General Electric, Utica for many years. She was an active communicant of Our Lady Queen of Apostles Church and a member of the Addolorata Society. Being a devout catholic, Annette could be seen praying to her rosary every day.
Annette is survived by two sons and daughters in law, George and Joanne Amendolare and Patrick and Deborah Amendolare; her grandchildren, George and his wife, Gail Amendolare, MaryBeth Amendolare, Elaina Amendolare, Joseph Amendolare, Dana and her husband, Peter DiCesare, Nicholas and his wife, Nicole Amendolare, Marissa and her husband, Nicholas Feldman; her great grandchildren, Michael Amendolare, Brianna and her husband, Robert Hughes, Nolan Amendolare, Mia Amendolare, Antonia DiCesare, Riley Johnson, Nicholas DiCesare, Andrew Johnson, Theodore Amendolare and Calvin Amendolare; two great great grandsons, Jeremy Hughes and Evan Hughes and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Annette is preceded in death by her father and mother, Sarrigio and Marie Scanio; her husband, Patsy Pat Amendolare and one brother and five sisters.
Her funeral will be held, Saturday, February 7, 2026 at 10:00 from the V.J.Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc. 203 Second Ave., Frankfort and at 10:30 AM where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Paul Catena. Spring interment will be in Mt Olivet Cemetery. Calling hours will be Saturday February 7 from 8:30 AM to the time of services at the V.J.Iocovozzi Funeral Home, Inc.
